The Artist of the Year Leaderboard is intended to be the king of all leaderboards on out site.The Artist of the Year Competition is exactly what its name implies; it crowns the artist who stood out the strongest that year. This is a prestigious award that acknowledges cornerstone artists in the industry and rising stars. It does this through a specifically weighted accumulation of all three of the other leaderboards. Put simply, the Artist of the Year Leaderboard is a combination of all the other leaderboards on or site.

Earning points on People’s Choice Leaderboard are based on the number of votes a tattoo receives, and each vote is then converted into points by our system and put into a prize pool. Judge’s Choice competitions occur once per month. Tattoos entered into these competitions are not voted on, but instead are judged by a hand-picked panel of industry leaders. Attaining a winning position in a Judge’s Choice competition awards a significant amount of points, reflective of the level of difficulty present in wining these competitions.
